From 1999 to 2003 I taught Spanish at Peninsula Catholic High School in Newport News, VA as Spanish I, II, III and IV teacher. We first developed the Spanish program and created a Spanish Club with various performances opened to the public. During 2002 and 2003, I have students for the first time participating in the National Spanish Exams. All The Students Passed the AATSP in Their First Attempt. We also got 1st place in VA and 4th in the nation in 2002 and 1st in VA and 3rd in the nation in 2003 making the Spanish language an important tool for the school.
